Our scented candles are filled with oil-based fragrances that stay in the wax until the wax is gone. They have been known to retain their scent for a long time, even when sitting on the porch for several years. Scented candles with an alcohol-based scent often smell strong at first, but lose their scent quickly when the scent evaporates from the wax.
Yes, they do. After one year of trial and error with various wax and wick combinations and seven years of hand-pouring candles, our candle-maker produces gourmet candles that are guaranteed to burn down evenly.
Always burn both wicks when burning your candles to ensure the candle burns evenly.
Depending on how you burn your candle, you may get more or less burn time, but after testing lots of candles, we believe you should be able to get at least 25–30 hours of burn time from our 16 oz. super scented candles.
Our richly scented gourmet candles contain lots of expensive fragrance oils and are not made cheaply. Because of this, you may find your budget does not allow you to regularly burn these quality scented candles. You can use a scented candle warmer to heat your richly scented candles and get a much longer lifespan than when you burn them.
Yes, scented candle warmers not only prolong the life of your scented candles, but also let you enjoy them in an environment where open flames are not appropriate.
Yes, you can. Burn the scented candle until the wax is almost gone. Then pour the rest of the wax out of the tin while it is still hot and pop the wicks loose with a knife or other object. Next, wipe the tin clean with a paper towel.
These handy little tins with clear view lids make useful storage containers for your workshop or office.
No, the tins we use for our scented candles are seamless and will not leak.
